Home Instead is seeking an exceptional, reliable, Lead Caregiver to join our team and our mission of enhancing the lives of seniors in our communities from Camden to Mt. Desert Island.
Job responsibilities include
Implementing and maintaining quality assurance with clients and caregivers
Setting up and starting new clients
Filling open shifts
Training and mentoring new caregivers
Coaching current caregivers
Performing caregiver - client introductions
In order to be considered:
You will have at least 3 years care giving experience
You must have the skills and experience to work with a broad range of clients including
transferring, nutrition, working with people living with dementia and various other patient needs
Have a flexible, open, schedule.
Excellent communication skills
Be competent with a computer
Have strong desire to help others.
You must possess a valid license and insurance
Your schedule must be flexible

Home Instead provides non-medical care and our CAREGivers perform a variety of tasks from companionship, light housekeeping, meal preparation and laundry, to help with showering and toileting to experienced care with dementia, stroke and medical equipment. The successful candidate will have a huge desire to help others, a strong work ethic and want to join an awesome team!
